REACTION TESTER
Reaction Tester
This project is a small fun project I created to review my HTML, CSS and Javascript. It shows a shape on the screen after a random amount of time delay and the user has to click on the shape as quick as possible. The application shows the user's most recent reaction time, their fastest time and the average time. It also has a Dark/Light mode toggle button and a pause button with different options to resume, restart, or quit the game.
WORDLE
Wordle
This project was an assignment where I was tasked to create a replica of the famous web application game 'Wordle'. My version of the game features a 4 letter mystery word that the user must guess within 4 attempts. There is a Light/Dark Mode toggle button, a hint button to provide the user with a clue to the word, and a button that displays instructions for the game.
OBITUARY MAKER
Obituary Maker
This project was a final project for a web development course where my partner and I were tasked with creating a application that created obituaries given a name, date of birth, date of death, and picture. The obitaries were generated using ChatGPT. The project consisted of React JS front-end web development and extensive back-end web development which included many AWS services, ChatGPT Chat API, and Cloudinary Upload API.
WEATHER SEARCHER
Weather Searcher
This project is a small web application I created to practice programming in PHP. The frontend is created with regular HTML, CSS, and JS. The program takes an input from the user (a city name), and with the help of the OpenWeatherMap API, returns a short weather summary of the requested city back to the user. There is also a toggle button for a change in the background picture.
